Who can broadcast using Webcast Now?
You must be like-minded in committment and faith to the Word of God and Jesus Christ.

Are you reselling somebody elses internet service?
No. We host and manage all content and hardware. No one will “shut us off.”

Is Webcast Now! On-demand or Live-webcasting?
The difference between the two is this. On-demand content is a pre-recorded media that is stored on a server. Users go a website and request to see the media—anytime they want (on-demand). Live-webcasting is live media (such as a Sunday service) and is Webcast in real time. Once the Webcast is over, visitors won’t be able to watch it again. Webcast Now! is Live-webcasting only.

Do my media viewers need to visit the Radio Free Church website?
No. All media is accessed from your website. We provide you with the needed links to view your on-demand media Webcasts.

What streaming formats
are supported?
For pre-recorded video, we support Windows Media, MP3, MPEG-4, plus many others. For live Webcasting, Windows Media is supported.

Can on-site technical set-up
be provided?
If you need on-site help, our technician can come to your location, set up the camera, computer, and connection. He’ll test the connection and make sure everything is working smoothly. Round-trip airfare and a place to stay are the only costs.

Radio Free Church features on-demand pre-recorded Godly Conferences, messages, and message sets. There will be user-friendly sorting to allow easy keyword selection of both audio and video presentations by topic, speaker, conference, or study. Phase Two will include a Bible School, where students can audit or take for college credit, courses on a variety of topics or books of the Bible. Radio Free Church will feature a select number of speakers who are devoted to the truth of God’s Word.

What do I need to webcast live audio/video from my computer?

1. Video camera with sufficient optical zoom lens so the speaker fills the frame, and a stable tripod. Contact Webcast Now! support (480-236-4223, Seth) for more information.

2. Appropriate cables to bring audio from the sound board (1/4-inch, XLR, RCA, stereo mini-plug, etc.) to the computer. We can help guide you with connections, and any equipment you may need.

3. PC computer with video capture card and audio input (we can supply the computer with everything installed for minimal cost) OR PC computer and a video converter (Canopus ADVC110) to convert from S-video or RCA video to Firewire.

4. Internet connection with a minimum of 256kb/sec upload speed.

5. You will need to place a provided link to our Windows Media stream on your church’s website.

What does Webcast Now! cost?
Costs for your streaming account depends on bandwidth used (how many people watch). Costs start at $35 per month.

How do we pay for the services?
Billing is monthly. There are no contracts to sign. Payment options are auto withdraw (ACH) from either a checking or savings account, or using a credit card.

“Why does it seem like I’m missing something?” Because we couldn’t fit everyting here.

This is a bold new project and will have some ‘growing pains.’ By limiting the number of churches that are Webcasting, you will enjoy responsive technical support.
